Points

The points program began on November 1, 2023 at 00:00 UTC. 1,000,000 points were distributed weekly to Hyperliquid users for 6 months, ending May 1, 2024 at 00:00 UTC. Points are meant to reward users who contribute to the protocol’s success.

Affiliates earned 1 point for every 4 points their referred users earn. Points criteria was updated on a recurring basis. Points distributions were based on weekly activity ending Wednesdays at 00:00 UTC. Distributions took place on Thursdays. A snapshot for a separate points distribution was taken on October 31, 2023 at 00:00 UTC for closed alpha users, with points for the closed alpha period distributed on April 15, 2024.

The L1 phase of points began on May 29, 2024 at 00:00 UTC. 700,000 points will be distributed weekly for 4 months. Activity from May 1-28, 2024 will receive a multiplier.

Points criteria will be updated on a recurring basis. Distributions will be based on weekly activity ending Wednesdays at 00:00 UTC and take place on Fridays. There will be 1:5 affiliate points matching. Affiliates will need to reapply. Hyperliquid reserves the right to modify previous point distributions under its sole discretion.
